Garlic Prawns and Veggies

This one is a mod of something I found on the internet.

Ingredients
  • stirFryPrawns1 pound Fresh Large Mexican Prawns, cleaned and de-veined
  • 3 medium zucchinis, cubed
  • 1 medium Walla Walla sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 small head broccoli
  • 1/3 c chicken broth
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chile paste
  • 8 drops hot chili oil
  • 1 Tbs dry sherry or white wine
  • 1 1/2 Tbs vegetable oil
  • 9 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 Tbs cornstarch
  • 3 Tbs mountain spring water
Directions
  • In a bowl, mix chicken broth, vinegar, soy sauce, chile paste, chili oil, wine, sesame oil.
  • In a second bowl, mix cornstarch and water.
  • Heat oil in wok until it smokes; turn on oven fan or disable smoke alarms.
  • Add veggies, stir fry for 3 minutes
  • Add shrimp, stir fry until pink, about 2 minutes
  • Add first bowl of sauce; then add water with cornstarch.  Continue cooking until thickened.
  • Serve over brown rice.
